CHAG SUCCOT SAMEACH!
Today begins Sukkoth – the Feast of Tabernacles! (according to the Enoch/Zadok calendar) * From Tuesday, October 8th at sunset to Tuesday, October 15th at sunset What are we celebrating? Sukkoth is one of the eternal Mo’edim of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (Yahuah) – a time of joy, gratitude, and communion with our Creator. It reminds us that our lives are temporary, but that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Himself dwells among us and provides for us. “So that your generations may know that I made the children of Yisrael dwell in booths when I brought them out of Egypt.” —Wayiqra 23:43 Succoth according to Enoch/Zadok 15th day of the 7th month (always on a Tuesday). Days 1 & 8 = Holy Sabbaths—no work! Build a sukkah (booth) Sing, celebrate, and be thankful Share meal & wine/grape juice Read: Wayiqra 23, Devarim 16, Zekaryah 14, Yochanan 7 Prophetic Significance Sukkoth points forward to the time when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 𐤇𐤌𐤔𐤉𐤀𐤊 (Yahusha HaMashiach) will tabernacle with His people. “Behold, the tent (sukkah) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is with men.” —Chazon 21:3 He is the source of living water: “Whoever believes in Me, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.” — Yochanan 7:37–38 Succoth = Joy, Harvest, Presence A festival of abundance, rest, and gratitude. A reminder of His protection in the past, and a prophetic glimpse of His coming Kingdom. Chag Succoth Sameach!
